Guess Who I Saw To Day

To Bring Him Here

Kristin Lomholt has been described by Kjeld Frandsen in Politiken (a Danish national newspaper) as a "genuine interpreter" of vocal jazz. Besides the many traditional jazz sources her music is also influenced by a much more eclectic mix of folk, rock and elements from classical music resulting in a sound rich in texture and tonal quality. Kristin Lomholt has performed extensively at various European venues in Spain, Germany, Sweden, Lithuania and her native Denmark. Among others she performed with jazz musicians such as Jacob Fischer, guitar; Jonas Johansen, drums; Bo Stief, bass, Francois Bahu, piano and Mikkel Hess, drums.

Presently Kristin's band The jazz Duets are formed by Kristin, vocals/piano and Guy Moscoso, vocals/bass. On occasion Michael Salling, piano and Chano Olskar, drums are added to the duo. On the folk scene, Kristin performs with her show Immigration Songs along with Sigurd Hockings, guitar and Andreas Tophoj, violin.

Kristin has performed with musicians such as Jacob Fischer, guitar; Jonas Johansen, drums; Bo Stief, bass, Francois Bahu, piano and Mikkel Hess, drums. In 2006 Kristin formed the Kristin Lomholt Group with three renowned musicians on the world jazz scene, Per Danielson on piano, Mark Neuenschwander on bass and Danny Gottlieb on drums. In 2007 the group performed along with Herbie Hancock and other international names at the Clearwater Jazz Festival.
